Why should you use a tanning lotion?

There are several reasons to use a professional grade indoor tanning lotion.  Tanning lotions will help to prepare your skin to receive the optimum amount of UV light, allowing you to get the most out of your session.  A lotion will help to protect your skin when you are in the bed, helping to repair skin damage, and replacing vitamins and minerals lost during the tanning process.  A lotion will also help to prolong your tan!

Better results are derived from your tanning session when using a tanning product.  The lotion keeps the skin moist during the session, and helps with opening the pores and magnifying the UV rays to let light get deeper into your skin.  The deeper the rays penetrate, the further down the tan starts, the longer it stays.  Tanners who are already very dark, and wish to be darker, can break through their tanning 'plateau' by using a high quality lotion.

To help prolong your tan, and keep your skin mega moisturized, it is suggested that you use an after tan extender and moisturizer.  These specially designed after tan lotions will help to keep that dark delicious tan you've worked so hard to achieve.
